Travel has been an important part of my life for a very long time – check out my travel list below.  As I look back on my travels I can see how they relate to the chapters of my life:  summer vacations on Cape Cod and train trips to New York City; flying cross country on a jet for the first time to our new home in Southern California; car trips to the California mountains, Las Vegas, Mexico and cross-country to New England; camping and exploring the Southwest by private plane then backpacking and exploring Europe, Greece, Israel and the South Pacific by commercial airliners; educational tours to the USSR, Ireland, Britain and the Continent; cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska and Canada; return trips to domestic favorites such as Sedona, Napa, New Orleans. Washington D.C., New York, Boston, the Smokey Mountains.  

As the family travel agent I’m amazed it took me so long to get into the travel business!  Recently retired after 30+ years of teaching mathematics and social studies, my future travel plans include Tibet, Ireland (always) Egypt and China; going wherever I need to go to learn as many types of dance as I can; and researching my family genealogy.  I also practice yoga; love line, swing and salsa dancing and look forward to accompanying my first groups on themed cruises.  Love the forest and hiking? Let’s cruise to Alaska and hike some of the most beautiful and historic trails in America.  Love wild animals?  Then it’s Alaska again for watching whales, sea otters, soaring eagles, bears, highway traveling moose, airborne salmon, mountain goats, and supersonic sled dogs.  Fascinated by the sinking of the Titanic?  Want to visit a real coal mine and hear the stories of a miners life told by a coal miner?  Let’s visit beautiful Nova Scotia.
